First experience with the True Cubes clear ice maker that the missus gave me for Valentine’s Day. What better to pair it with than the IW Harper 15 she gave for Christmas? I can confirm that the ice really does come out clear, and this bourbon is really growing on me. For a 15 year, it’s not overly oaked at all, but it does pack a lot of flavor for the relatively low proof. It’s well balanced and really smooth.
